The house is amazing. Location cannot be beat, the bikes were great to get to the beach or town. Pine trees beach is less than a 5 minute walk, which is magical first thing in the morning when waking up. The house has everything needed to cook, is very comfortable, and clean. Pullout couch is the most comfortable one we have encountered.

This place literally has everything you’d need! All the beach gear you could want, great bikes to easily get from beach to beach, to the pier, and into town. Really easy to move around.
Phenomenal location, and really great views of the most beautiful mountains ever.
I’d HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place and will for surely be coming back asap.

Stayed at this property with my partner for a week. The location is ideal to access all the perks of Hanalei town. Property was clean, comfortable and well managed. Particularly enjoyed the tote and sand towels on property. We most enjoyed relaxing on the lanai between outings.

This property was beautiful inside and out. It has been recently updated and had every amenity we could want. We especially enjoyed looking at the mountain waterfalls with our morning coffee on the covered deck. Close to the beach and to town. We will stay here again!

This was such a wonderful stay! The house was clean, wonderfully decorated, stocked with everything we could have needed and (most importantly) located in an ideal place. Just a short walk to the beach or town, we never used our car and felt like we got a real feel for Hanalei. Well be back and staying here again!

This place is truly incredible. The location couldn't be better, walk to surf, walk to town, etc. The home is gorgeous and was so clean. Krisha made everything so easy, as did the App. We are already trying to plan a trip back, and I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else in Kauai. I have stayed at several vacation rentals and this was hands down the greatest experience.

This property exceeded our expectations. The place was incredibly clean. The beach gear was awesome- sand toys, boogie boards, chairs, snorkels/fins and BIKES! The walk to town is about 5-8 mins from the place which is very convenient. Truly can't be the location. You are a 5 min walk to the beach- an amazing beach too with great surf for kids and the most beautiful sunsets. The views from the house are breathtaking too. The covered patio is perfect for lazy mornings or post beach naps. Great property and we will absolutely stay again. Just 3 small call-outs to consider: 1.) There is no air condition. The house gets hot during the day, but cools off while sleeping. 2.) The outdoor shower is great, but you are exposed while showering (the downstairs neighbor could easily see you). 3.) There is a tenant that is on the bottom floor of the house. Very nice guy. BUT, something to be mindful of if you have children who run around- likely he can hear all the footsteps. So we were extra cautious about this. We will absolutely stay here again.

Such a quiet and peaceful place. From the overall design, to the fresh, and comfortable amenities, this is a gem that is perfect for groups big and small. Plenty of space, clean, and has all of the beach gear you need to really enjoy the town. The location is perfect for early AM getaways or long night walks to soak it all in.

We loved our stay in this beautiful house. Everything was clean and welcoming. It looks like it was recently updated with every amenity and a lovely style. The pictures are very accurate, except that it is even better in person. We loved being able to walk into town and to easily walk to the beach. A perfect location. The manager was easy to contact and very helpful when we couldn't find the house at first. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Couldn't have asked for a better location: quiet, 5 min walk to the beach and 5 min to shops in Hanalei. House itself is spacious, light filled and perfect for two couples with bedrooms on either end of the home, a large open kitchen/living room and enough nooks for individual hanging out.

We loved the apartment. Super modern and clean, quiet and friendly neighbors, amazing location. Our kids were able to cycle everywhere by themselves.

This was our second time staying at Hale Ka Mahina and third time to Hanalei in 2 years. We love this rental. The place is spacious and perfect for two couples. Krisha (rental agent) is very responsive to any needs and easy to communicate. You can't meet the proximity to the beach and town. Is perfect for persons wanting to soak up all Hanalei has to offer. Can't wait to return.

This was the perfect location and Basecamp for my family. It was beautiful, wonderful location, and all around ideal for us. We would go back there in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful stay at Hale Ka Mahina! The location is perfect...close to beach and town and we loved the views of the mountains and the home overall. We did have a bit of trouble finding the house at night upon arrival as it is tucked behind a house off the main street. Overall the property management was super responsive and we would definitely rent this home again.

This rental is charming, modern and very clean. We stayed 4 nights and absolutely loved the vibe. The bedrooms were on separate ends of the house which was nice for our two couples. Walk to the beach or walk to town - everything is a 8-10 minutes away. The view of the mountains is incredible. We sat out on the patio drinking coffee in the morning watching rainbows light up the sky. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed (even a juicer for our limes). Outdoor shower is a dream after a long day at the beach.
The house has a beach wagon filled with beach chairs and an umbrella. I was disappointed there wasn't a surfboard as previously advertised. Overall, I would love to stay here again!

Hale Ka Mahina was a perfect home for our Christmas family vacation! It is ideally located walking distance to the beach and town, with spectacular views of the mountains. The floorpan is open and spacious, and every detail for comfort and enjoyment has been well thought out. Beach gear and bikes were included, and Kauai Palms Real Estate Company was awesome to work with. We look forward to staying here again, and would highly recommend it!

This house is lovely. Recently remodeled, it looks like they hired Joanna Gaines to come in and do her thing. Comfortable beds, high-quality linens. We were really impressed. Great proximity to the fun happenings in and around Hanalei.

Wow!! What a great place to stay in Hanalei! Just remolded and super comfortable and beautifully designed. It’s located a block from the beach and walking distance to the restaurants and bars. Our favorite restaurant was AMA. Super yummy ramen! Check In and the communication were great! We will definitely stay here again!!

It was the perfect house! Super close to the beach where we walked each day. We love biking or walking to town which is 2 minutes away. The house has everything you need and more. We can't wait to return to Hanalei Bay.

Great spot. Exactly as described. Only difference was there appeared to be a yard from the photos but there is not. It’s of no consequence though with the great porches and the beach 1.5 blocks away. It was awesome to have bikes, surfboard, boogie board, and beach chairs/cooler. Loved the spot and would return for sure.

Great house! The location was perfect, the house was surprisingly quiet being so close to other homes. It was clean and had everything you need including bikes which we used every day to get around town and to the beach. Being on the second floor was nice not only because of the incredible views of the mountains but the trade winds kept the house nice and cool. We hardly saw or heard the tenant downstairs. We will definitely stay there again!

This house was perfect for my husband and I and our son and daughter in law. We could walk to the beach or town. There were bikes to ride. Woke up each morning to the birds singing. It seemed a bit sparse on decor, but we noticed a lot of boxes in the garage that had arrived recently from a home decor co. So maybe that has been added. Would highly recommend this house.

We enjoyed an exceptional 4 nights at this gorgeous property. The house is very clean, comfortable, nicely furnished & newly remodeled. The 2 bedrooms are on opposite sides with the living area in the middle which gave us privacy. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked & has new appliances. The open concept kitchen, dining & living area is perfect for enjoying each other's company. Each bedroom has a walk-in closet which was great for spreading out our luggage. The bathrooms are large. There are plenty of windows in every room to enjoy the sunsets, not to mention the light-filled living areas. There are large couches in the living area which are comfortable. The rental came with beach bikes which we used every morning to ride to breakfast at the Hanalei Bread Co., a short 5 minute ride. We ate dinner at Bar Acuda & Ama which are both amazing. The house was spacious for our group of 3 adults. The property manager Krishna was quick to respond to my emails & provided thorough responses to my inquiries. I highly recommend this beautiful property. It has everything you could possibly desire for a perfect Hawaiian getaway experience!

We knew from the moment we stepped into the main room with high ceilings, great kitchen, comfy couch & smart TV, we were home! Noted also were the wonderful sheets/pillows/comforters & fluffy bath and beach towels. The FOUR cruiser bikes were a great unexpected addition to our entertainment. We are not really into dining out - so we cooked at home and hung out with (local) friends. Being right in town make everything so easy. Thank you for making our vacation feel like a home away from home.

this place is amazing. want to be a 2-minute walk to the beach? a five minute walk to downtown Hanalei? and see three mountains with waterfalls from pretty much any room in the place? then this is the place for you. the place is modern and the setting is spectacular. the fans and open air were enough to cool us off from the humidity we don't get in Southern California (though in hotter times of the year i could have seen us asking if there was AC). a lovely, spacious place that's well situated. though we didnt have a single issue, the management agency was proactive coming, arriving, and going.

Absolutely loved staying in this charming little place that is centrally located, just a short walk to Hanalei Bay and the shops in Hanalei! We loved sitting outside for our morning cup of coffee and enjoying the gorgeous views of the mountains and waterfalls as sunset at night! House is well equipped with everything you could need. Would definitely stay here again!

The home is well cared for and in a great location, within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and shops. The view from the deck is amazing...mountains, a couple of waterfalls and the occasional rainbow. I can't wait to return!
